ILR1-08 is the introductory course in the core curriculum. This course provides an overview of the valuation process and lays the foundation for employing appraisal methodology. The course is designed to establish a basic understanding of appraisal theory and the context in which objective judgment is applied. Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice (USPAP) are prefaced, and the responsibility for rendering sound conclusions is stressed.
